I don’t ask to be born this way

Was there anyone ask to be born?
It was never been our decision.
It was not our decision to make. To be born that way.

Isna, is 13 years old girl who has mental disability. She was never wanting to be born like that. But, what does she know about it?

Her mother never want her to be born. She tried to abort her since she was 4 months old fetus. And then at that day, 13 years ago, she was born, as an autism. Her mother left her, she never wanting to take care of her or grant her as a daughter.

Isna live with her father and 2 sibling. Older brother and sister who’s embarrass of having up-normal little sister. Her father, he is on his late 40 years old age has no idea of how to raise an autism daughter. All he know is only about feeding her with his own hand, let her wash at the river, and let her play at the ground to just let her recognize her own undefined world.

Isna and her father live at the small house in Ubud. Every day, just to ensure Isna feed enough, her father takes her to Puputan ground at the center of Denpasar City. After feeding her, he lets her play at the ground. Isna will play by her own at the ground. No friend or anyone who recognize her. There was a day when her father found her tied up at the pillar on this ground. And then the other day, there was a fact that he found her daughter was sitting down inside the drainage, someone must push her there, and abandon her so she can’t get out. It seems like there is nothing he can do to raise her daughter properly. There is nothing except accepting what he has on his life now. He has no clue on how raising a child like this.

He has never asked about what happen to his daughter.
No one does.

Nobody wanting to be born like her.
Nobody wanting to be autism.
What happen to Isna is one of the fact that there is big chance to help ourselves. By helping her.
At least trying to help her.

I’m a sinner, try to write a letter and ask for help. Please help her.
